Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić attended the grand military parade held in Red Square in Moscow to mark the 80th anniversary of the victory against fascism. However, beyond his statements about the importance of this visit, what has caught attention is how he was treated at this international event.

In a photo shared on social media by the leader of the Serbian Republican Party, Nikola Sandulović, it can be seen that Vučić was seated at the back row, near Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Sandulović did not hold back criticism, describing Vučić as a worthless figure in global politics.

“Here is the value of the mad dictator of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, in real international politics. Sitting at the back row next to his master Putin, just like in all other major international meetings where heads of states gather,” Sandulović wrote on social media.

“Only in Serbia can he present himself as an important political figure on the international stage with lies, fabrications, and personal mystifications… Otherwise, in those meetings, it is always clear what they think of him and how they treat him,” he added.

Meanwhile, Vučić described the visit to Moscow as “important for concrete and rational reasons,” including energy and bilateral relations with Russia. However, he expressed dissatisfaction with the pressure that, according to him, is being exerted by the West.

This is not the first time that Sandulović has publicly clashed with Vučić. Critics of the Serbian president increasingly accuse him of autocracy and deep ties with the Kremlin, especially at a time when many European countries have isolated Russia due to its aggression in Ukraine.
