Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has responded following the Israeli military’s airstrike on the port of Hodeidah in Yemen, as a counterattack against the Houthi rebels, who launched a drone at Tel Aviv on Friday.

Netanyahu considered the operation carried out by the IDF and IAF to be successful, reports The Times of Israel.

Israel strikes the Houthis in Yemen, responding to the drone attack on Tel Aviv.

“We hit targets 1,700 kilometers away from our borders,” said Prime Minister Netanyahu.

“I have a message for Israel’s enemies – do not mistake us. We will defend ourselves in every way, on every front. Anyone who harms us will pay a very heavy price for their aggression,” Netanyahu added.

Netanyahu also called on the international community to increase measures against Iran and its representatives.
