The Assembly of Kosovo has begun final preparations for the vote to elect the country’s new president.
Ballot boxes have been placed inside the plenary hall, signaling that the voting process is about to proceed.
Voting for the president has now started, with 64 MPs from the ruling majority present in the chamber, while opposition parties have chosen not to participate.
The development comes amid political tensions, with opposition representatives refusing to recognize the proposed candidates and declining to attend the session.
