Bekë Berisha, MP of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), firmly rejected the idea of joining a transitional or coalition government that includes Albin Kurti and his party, Vetëvendosje (VV).

The statement comes in response to LDK’s proposal for a joint transitional government to navigate the current political deadlock.

“Albin Kurti and Lumir Abdixhiku are two sides of the same coin,” Berisha said.
“He [Abdixhiku] wants to share the blame for the Association [of Serb-majority municipalities]. I won’t take that blame. I don’t need Abdixhiku to invite me into a joint government with Kurti — if I wanted to govern, I’d do it without VV.”

Berisha reaffirmed AAK’s long-held stance: no participation in any government involving VV.
