Waiting times at Kosovo’s border crossings have eased significantly compared to earlier in the day, with congestion reduced at most entry and exit points following heavy seasonal traffic.
According to the latest data from the National Border Management Centre, the majority of border crossings are currently operating with waiting times of only three to five minutes for both arrivals and departures.
However, delays continue at several crossing points. At Dheu i Bardhë, motorists leaving Kosovo are facing waiting times of between 45 and 60 minutes, with vehicle queues stretching approximately 200 meters.
The longest delays remain at the Muçibabë border crossing, where outbound travelers are waiting up to 120 minutes, and traffic queues extend for about one kilometer.
At the Kullë crossing, travelers entering Kosovo are experiencing shorter delays of between five and ten minutes, with queues measuring around 150 meters.
Authorities also reported that freight traffic remains unaffected, with no waiting times or truck queues recorded at any of Kosovo’s border crossings.
Border traffic has begun to normalize after several days of exceptionally high volumes caused by the peak summer travel season, during which long queues formed at multiple crossing points as members of the Kosovo diaspora and other travelers returned to the region.
