Tariffs are reduced by 8% for those who spend over 800 kWh and 3% for businesses
In this meeting, it was also decided to reduce the tariffs by 3% for commercial and industrial consumers.
ERO has justified this decision by saying that the costs of electricity supply from imports for end consumers for 2024 are expected to be lower compared to previous years :
“The drop in prices in the electricity markets in Europe has affected the wholesale costs of electricity in Kosovo. As a result of these changes, the costs of supplying electricity from imports to end consumers for 2024 are predicted to be lower compared to previous years. These changes have influenced the reduction of electricity tariffs for end consumers”, the announcement states.
