Erza Muminoviq has won the bronze medal at the U23 European Championship. On Friday, in Pila, Poland, Erza placed third in the 52 kg category.
Erza started the day with a victory over Azerbaijan’s Khadizha Gadashova. In her second match, she defeated Romania’s Luciana Catana.
In the semifinals, she lost by two waza-ari to Spain’s Ayumi Leiva Sanchez. However, in the bronze medal match, she triumphed over Poland’s Oliwia Kutyla.
Erza dominated the match. First, she executed a throw for waza-ari, and then with a hold-down, she secured an Ippon.
