European Union leaders have reaffirmed their support for Ukraine. On Monday, they gathered in Paris to discuss the Ukraine issue.
In an identical post on the platform “X,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen and European Council President Antonio Costa stated that “Ukraine deserves peace through strength.”
“Today in Paris, we reaffirmed that Ukraine deserves peace through strength. Peace that respects its independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and with strong security guarantees. Europe is carrying its full share of military assistance to Ukraine. At the same time, we need to strengthen defense in Europe,” the post reads.
