🇪🇺 European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos has praised the progress of Albania and Montenegro on their path toward European Union membership, describing them as among the most advanced countries in the integration process.
Speaking at a reconstruction conference for Ukraine held in Poland, Kos stated that Albania is currently in an advanced stage of negotiations and is approaching the closing of accession chapters — a key milestone toward meeting EU standards.
She emphasized that the pace of reforms and institutional commitment remain decisive factors for further progress in the EU enlargement process.
According to Kos, countries that continue implementing sustainable reforms have a clearer and faster path toward full integration into the European Union.
