An unidentified individual threw an explosive device at the headquarters of the Dutch political party D66, led by Prime Minister Rob Jetten.
The explosion occurred on the evening of May 7, causing damage to the entrance and windows of the party’s headquarters in The Hague. Around 30 people were inside the building at the time of the incident, but fortunately no injuries were reported.
Police announced that a suspect was arrested approximately one hour after the attack.
Prime Minister Jetten described the incident as “a cowardly act of intimidation” and thanked police and firefighters for their swift response.
