Arben Gashi from the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) expects that today, April 17, the report on the verification of MPs’ mandates will pass in the Assembly. According to him, this will happen because the ruling party, Vetëvendosje (VV), is mobilized to make it happen.
“This is a political matter. I think the report will be put to a vote, and I believe they are mobilized and will pass it, so the oath will be taken today.
As for whether the Assembly speaker will be elected, other bodies constituted, or whether the government formation process will begin immediately—those are matters for the majority, depending on their numbers,” Gashi stated.
