The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (MPJD), Donika Gërvalla, is on an official visit to Canada.
In the press release, it is said that she met her Canadian counterpart, Melanie Joly.
“During this meeting, accompanied by the Chairperson of the Kosovo-Canada Friendship Parliamentary Group, Mimoza Kusari-Lila and the Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo to Canada, Adriatik Kryeziu, after thanking him for the support that Canada has given to Kosovo in the liberation, reconstruction and its development, Minister Gërvalla informed her counterpart about the political and security situation in Kosovo, emphasizing the destabilizing actions of Serbia, which today constitutes a danger for stability in the Western Balkans and in Southeastern Europe”.
“Ministers Gërvalla and Joly discussed strengthening the partnership in raising Kosovo’s defense capacities, sustainable development, strategic investments and cooperation in the public-private sector”, announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
