Government of Kosovo Allocates €2 Million for Air Routes Supporting the Diaspora

The acting Government of Kosovo held an electronic meeting today, during which it adopted several decisions.

According to the Office of the Prime Minister (ZKM), the government allocated budget funds amounting to €2 million for the implementation of Measure 4.5 “Diaspora Support” under the Economic Revival Package, aimed at supporting flight routes serving the country’s diaspora.

Additional budget funds were also approved to promote the Republic of Kosovo internationally.

For the Kosovo Mathematical Society, €8,000 were allocated for participation in the 67th International Mathematical Olympiad 2026, which will take place on July 21, 2026, in Shanghai.

For “Kosova Global Talent Center,” €70,876.79 were allocated for the participation of 26 students in the NEO Science Olympiad final, which will be held in New York in July 2026.

For the Kosovo Chemistry Society, €3,500 were allocated for participation in the International Chemistry Olympiad 2026, which will take place from July 10 to 19 in Tashkent.

The government also approved the list of potential members of the Selection Commission for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
