The Ambassador of the United States of America, Jeffrey Hovenier, met today with the American soldiers deployed in the Eastern Regional Command of the KFOR mission, led by NATO, in the Notting Hill camp.

Hovenier was accompanied by Commander Jason Baker, who briefed him on the US contribution to KFOR’s daily activities in support of sustainable security throughout Kosovo.

“KFOR continues to implement its UN mandate – based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 – to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for all people living in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at any time and impartially.
