Israel has welcomed the decision of Kosovo to designate the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.
The move was announced following a government meeting in Prishtina, where Kosovo officially declared the IRGC a terrorist entity.
Reacting to the decision, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel praised Kosovo’s stance through a post on social media.
“We welcome the announcement by the Republic of Kosovo to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization. The world must unite in the fight against Iran’s terrorist regime,” the statement read.
The decision marks a significant alignment of Kosovo with its Western allies on security and foreign policy issues, particularly amid heightened global tensions involving Iran.
