Jashari Meets with KFOR Commander, Discusses Security Situation in Kosovo and the Region

The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF), Bashkim Jashari, held a meeting today with KFOR Commander Ozkan Ulutash.

The two officials discussed the security situation in Kosovo and the wider region, as well as the ongoing development of the KSF.

“General Jashari initially welcomed Major General Ulutash and congratulated him on his appointment as KFOR Commander, wishing him success in this important role. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments within the Kosovo Security Force, including training, exercises, challenges, operations, and other activities. They also addressed the current security situation at both national and regional levels, as well as the common challenges they face,” the KSF statement reads.

The meeting also covered the ongoing cooperation between the KSF and KFOR, emphasizing the importance of strengthening this partnership, which, according to the KSF, will contribute to enhancing peace and security in Kosovo and the region.
