The next session of the Kosovo Assembly will be held on Thursday at noon, while a planned debate on the country’s energy sector and its shortcomings has been postponed until next week.

The decision was announced by Besnik Tahiri, head of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) parliamentary group, following a meeting on the continuation of the Assembly’s work.

“It was decided that the next session will be held on Thursday at 12:00. The debate on energy and the failures that have occurred was agreed to be postponed until next week rather than held this week,” Tahiri said.

He emphasized the importance of the planned discussion, describing energy policy as an issue with a direct impact on citizens’ everyday lives.

“The discussion on energy is, in fact, a discussion about life,” he said.

The debate is expected to address developments and shortcomings in Kosovo’s energy sector, although further details about the agenda have not been provided.
