Kosovo Assembly Speaker Albulena Haxhiu has begun an official visit to North Macedonia, where she was welcomed with a state ceremony by her counterpart, Parliament Speaker Afrim Gashi.
During her visit, Haxhiu is also scheduled to meet North Macedonian President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova and Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.
Her agenda includes meetings with mayors of municipalities with Albanian-majority populations, focusing on engagement with local representatives.
The program also includes a visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art.
The visit comes as Kosovo and North Macedonia continue their institutional cooperation and political engagement, with contacts between parliamentary leaders forming part of broader efforts to maintain relations between the neighboring countries.
