The Kosovo Security Force (FSK) has launched a series of high-readiness tactical field exercises and operational training maneuvers within the territory of the Municipality of Prishtina. The military drills are officially scheduled to take place on May 21, 22, and 28, 2026.
According to a public advisory released by municipal authorities, the bulk of the combat training operations will be concentrated around the strategic Badovc Lake zone and will extend along sections of “Pëllazgët” Road in the nearby village of Mramor.
Controlled Operations: Live Blank Fire and Heavy Convoys
The Municipality of Prishtina issued a formal notice to residents, detailing what to expect as infantry units and mechanized columns rotate through the designated training sectors.

Official Municipal Advisory
Defense officials emphasized that all tactical maneuvers are fully simulated, heavily monitored, and part of a pre-planned cycle to sharpen the force’s domestic defense capabilities.
“We inform you that the Kosovo Security Force, as part of its planned operational training activities, is conducting field exercises in the Badovc Lake area, including a section along ‘Pëllazgët’ Road in Mramor village,” the official municipal statement reads. “We ask for the understanding of our citizens and urge them not to be alarmed by these activities, as they are fully planned and controlled by our responsible security institutions. Thank you for your cooperation.”
The security operations fall during a highly active period of state preparation across the Prishtina region, as defense forces continue to modernize and align their operational standards with international frameworks.
