A Basic Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) training exercise has been conducted at the International Training Center for Search and Rescue, with participation from members of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) and the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Germany.
According to the KSF, the training highlighted ongoing cooperation between Kosovo and Germany in strengthening professional capacities in search and rescue operations, aiming to enhance operational capabilities and interoperability between institutions.
The participation of German military personnel contributed to experience-sharing, improved interoperability, and further development of common training standards.
During the exercise, participants developed basic urban search and rescue skills, including search techniques, rescue procedures, teamwork, safety measures, and coordination in disaster response scenarios.
