Kosovo’s Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mimoza Kusari-Lila, met with France’s newly appointed Ambassador to Kosovo, Jean-François Huchet, to discuss strengthening bilateral economic cooperation.
During the meeting, the two discussed existing cooperation between Kosovo and France, with a focus on economic ties, trade relations and new opportunities for collaboration in entrepreneurship and innovation.
Kusari-Lila also presented Kosovo’s efforts to promote the country as an attractive destination for French investors and to increase the presence of “Made in Kosova” products in the French market.
As part of these efforts, the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation is supporting eight Kosovo food-processing businesses to participate in SIAL Paris 2026, which will take place from October 17–21.
The sides are also expected to intensify preparations for the organization of French Business Days in Kosovo in February 2027, in coordination with the Kosovo Embassy in Paris. They will also work toward establishing a more structured cooperation program in the fields of industry, trade, entrepreneurship and innovation.
“France is an important partner for the further development of the private sector, investment and innovation in Kosovo,” Kusari-Lila said.
