A landslide near Badoc Lake along the Prishtina-Gjilan road triggered a traffic accident involving a car and a bus on Thursday evening, April 10.
According to Kosovo Police, the accident occurred around 20:00 in the village of Kishnicë. One person sustained injuries and received medical treatment at the scene.
“At around 20:00 in the village of Kishnicë, a traffic accident occurred involving a bus and a car. One person was injured and received medical treatment at the scene,” police stated to ATV.
Authorities have not yet disclosed the cause of the landslide, but recent weather conditions could have contributed to the soil instability.
Traffic on the Prishtina-Gjilan route was temporarily disrupted as emergency crews responded to the incident.
