The Serbian List (Lista Serbe) has officially submitted its candidate list for the parliamentary elections scheduled for 7 June in Kosovo.

The list also includes figures who have previously held political positions within Serb-majority municipalities in northern Kosovo, as well as individuals who have remained influential in local political structures supported by Belgrade.

However, what draws particular attention is the presence of individuals who have previously been mentioned in connection with the Banjska terrorist attack in northern Kosovo, including Slavko Simić. Some of these names have been referenced in public debates and investigations regarding alleged involvement or political links to the armed group responsible for the 2023 Banjska incident, in which a Kosovo Police officer was killed during an armed attack.

The inclusion of such figures is likely to further intensify political tensions ahead of the elections, especially given ongoing disputes between Pristina and Belgrade over security, legitimacy, and political influence in the north of Kosovo.

The Serbian List remains the dominant Serb political party in Kosovo and is widely seen as having strong backing from official structures in Belgrade.

As the election campaign intensifies, this list is expected to become a focal point of political debate, particularly regarding accountability, regional stability, and the role of Serb political structures within Kosovo’s institutions.
