President Vjosa Osmani met with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen during her visit to Kosovo, emphasizing the importance of EU support for Kosovo’s path toward European Union integration.
Osmani highlighted the need to lift punitive measures against Kosovo, describing them as unjust, and discussed the implementation of the Growth Plan.
“Kosovo is ready to move forward with commitment, successful reforms, and unwavering confidence in its European future. It was a great pleasure to welcome President von der Leyen again to the Republic of Kosovo today. Together, we discussed the implementation of the Growth Plan, the importance of lifting unjust measures against our country, and the next steps on our path toward EU integration,” Osmani stated.
Following the meeting with Osmani, von der Leyen held a separate session with Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti at the Kosovo Assembly.
