Kosovo’s Finance Minister Hekuran Murati and Auditor General Vlora Spanca are scheduled to report to the Assembly’s Committee for Oversight of Public Finances on Friday regarding the audit of the Republic of Kosovo’s 2025 budget.

The committee meeting is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m., with the main focus on the Auditor General’s report on the Annual Audit Report for Kosovo’s 2025 budget.

Discussions are expected to cover public finance management, budget implementation, and compliance with legal and financial procedures by the responsible institutions.

The audit report is an important tool for assessing how public funds were managed and spent, providing an overview of the financial administration of public institutions during the reporting year.

During the meeting, committee members are expected to have the opportunity to seek clarification from Murati and Spanca on the findings presented in the report, as well as on measures to address the audit recommendations.

The Assembly’s Committee for Oversight of Public Finances plays a key role in parliamentary scrutiny of budget spending and in ensuring accountability among public institutions.
