Osmani Arrives in Washington, Meets with O’Brien – Here’s What They Discussed

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with Assistant Secretary of State, Jim O’Brien, to discuss the latest developments in the dialogue with Serbia and the importance of the US role in the success of this process.

President Vjosa Osmani wrote on Facebook that during her meeting with Jim O’Brien, they also talked about the importance of close cooperation with our American allies to overcome common challenges, as well as to protect freedom, independence, and democracy in Kosovo.

“A substantive discussion on the importance of close cooperation with our American allies to overcome common challenges, as well as to protect our freedom, independence, and democracy. Together, we also discussed the latest developments in the dialogue with Serbia and the importance of the US role in the success of this process,” Vjosa Osmani wrote on Facebook.

President Vjosa Osmani is staying in Washington at the invitation of US Secretary of State Antony Blinken to participate in an event organized by the US Department of State for Women, Peace, and Security, held within the framework of the NATO Summit, on the 75th anniversary of the founding of this military organization.
