President Vjosa Osmani addressed the unequal approach taken by the European Union regarding Kosovo during her remarks in the United States.
She emphasized the need for coordination with partners but also pointed out the EU’s double standards towards Pristina.
“What we see now is an unbalanced approach from the EU. We have two parties at the table, and one of them is under international sanctions. Serbia, on the other hand, faces zero consequences, considering what happened last year.”
“The US called it aggression because that’s what it was. Vučić remains the EU’s spoiled child. Serbia has 80 percent sympathy for Vladimir Putin.”
“This approach is unprecedented. It gives us no chance for dialogue. Our hope is for equality at the table,” Osmani stated.
The President of Kosovo also mentioned the non-recognition by five EU member states, which is hindering Kosovo’s progress in integration processes.
