The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has condemned the terrorist attack that damaged the Ibër-Lepenc water canal.
According to PDK, this attack on Kosovo’s critical infrastructure, following two other grenade attacks on municipal institutions in Zveçan in recent days, signals an organized attack against Kosovo and calls for the maximum commitment of all state institutions.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo strongly condemns the terrorist attack that damaged the Ibër-Lepenc water canal, which has caused severe consequences for the water supply to citizens in the Mitrovica region and beyond. This attack on Kosovo’s critical infrastructure, following two other grenade attacks on municipal institutions in Zveçan in recent days, shows an organized assault on Kosovo and requires the full mobilization of all state institutions.
Currently, the main priority is to restore normalcy for the citizens. This includes repairing all damages, restoring the water supply, and ensuring the security of all critical infrastructure across Kosovo to prevent such acts from happening again.
This attack demands an investigation, the identification, and the maximum punishment of all those involved. It requires the mobilization of all security and justice authorities in our country to ensure the protection of critical infrastructure, clarify the case as soon as possible, and provide answers to the many questions that concern every citizen of our country today. Citizens need transparency, information, and accountability.
On this occasion, we call on the international community to strongly condemn these actions, to exert pressure on Serbia, and to assist in uncovering this act that undermines the security and stability not only of Kosovo but of the entire Western Balkans.
