President Osmani Travels to Poland for the Global “Vital Voices Summit”

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, has traveled to Poland to participate in the global “Vital Voices Summit.”

According to an official statement from the presidency, Osmani will be a keynote speaker at this summit in a discussion on the topic “Women for Rights and Democracy.”

The event will be moderated by Ambassador Melanne Verveer, Executive Director of the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace, and Security, the first U.S. Ambassador for Global Women’s Issues, and Co-Founder of Vital Voices.

Since its founding in 1997, “Vital Voices” has directly supported more than 20,000 women leaders driving change in 185 countries worldwide, building the most powerful global network of women leaders committed to a more equal world for all.
