The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today received the letters of credence from the new Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany, Rainer Rudolph.
President Osmani welcomed Ambassador Rudolph and wished him success in his diplomatic mission in Kosovo, expressing the deep gratitude of the people of Kosovo for Germany’s unwavering support throughout all stages of state-building and in strengthening the country’s international standing.
In this context, President Osmani emphasized that Germany has been and remains a strong ally of Kosovo and an unshakeable supporter of its path toward membership in the European Union and NATO.
During the meeting, both sides highlighted the importance of further strengthening economic cooperation and recognized the valuable contribution of the Kosovo diaspora in Germany, which through its engagement and investments continues to reinforce the ties between the two countries and their peoples.
President Osmani expressed her confidence that the close partnership between Kosovo and Germany will continue to deepen across various fields of mutual interest during Ambassador Rudolph’s tenure.
