Moscow will retaliate against UK targets if British weapons are used by Ukraine for attacks inside Russian territory, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Thursday.
Zakharova told reporters that British targets “inside the territory of Ukraine and beyond its borders” could be hit in such a scenario.
It repeated a warning Moscow made earlier this month after British Foreign Secretary David Cameron said Ukraine could use British weapons against targets inside Russia if it wanted to.

Cameron’s comments make Britain take a more bellicose stance against Russia – at least publicly – than the US, which insists that the weapons it supplies to Ukraine must be used only within Ukraine’s internationally recognized borders, and not against targets. within the territory of Russia.
