NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte addressed the media in the UK regarding support for Ukraine and the ongoing front-line situation.
He described the Volunteers Coalition meeting as “very productive” and welcomed allies’ initiative to strengthen support for Ukraine.
“Vladimir Putin is gaining little ground on the Ukrainian front lines, and hundreds of thousands of Russians are dying for his deceitful aggression,” Rutte said.
He added:
“Developments on the battlefield show that our support for Ukraine is working, and we must continue it. Putin is running out of money, troops, and ideas, and Russia must stop where it is.”
Rutte’s presence in London follows his recent discussions with Donald Trump at the White House on Wednesday.
