Today, former KLA commander Fadil Shishani has passed away, reports Gazeta Sinjali.
The news of his death was shared by his family through a post on Facebook, where it is stated that his funeral will take place today at 5:00 PM.
“Dear friends, comrades, and loved ones, with deep sorrow, we inform you that my father, Fadil Shishani, has passed away. The funeral will take place at the Shishani family cemetery in Dobroshec at 5:00 PM,” the announcement says.
In addition to being a soldier and commander of the KLA, Shishani was also an education veteran, a karate practitioner, the Commander of the Kosovo Protection Corps (TMK), and a member of the Kosovo Police.
