German Chancellor Olaf Scholz congratulated the Serbian Prime Minister, Milosh Vučević, on taking office and said that Germany is ready to support Serbia on its way to normalizing relations with Kosovo.
According to the Press Service of the Federal Government of Germany, Scholz assessed that Serbia has the opportunity to make further progress on its path to reforms, especially in strengthening the rule of law.
“Germany is ready to support you in the future as you continue your path towards the European Union and the normalization of relations with Kosovo, I wish you success and luck in the challenges that await you.
I congratulate you on taking the job. Serbia has the opportunity to make further progress on its reform path, especially in strengthening the rule of law.”
