U.S. President Donald Trump has said that final negotiations for “peace” are ongoing but have been hindered by what he described as “ignorance or foolishness.”
In a post on his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated:
“Both sides, Israel and Iran, are seeking an immediate ceasefire.”
He added that the blockade would remain in place and fully enforced until a “Final Agreement” is reached.
“The blockade will remain in effect and in full force until a ‘Final Agreement’ is achieved. Things need to move quickly,” Trump wrote.
The comments come amid renewed tensions between Israel and Iran, following recent missile exchanges and military strikes that have raised concerns about a broader regional escalation.
According to reports, diplomatic efforts are continuing as international actors seek to prevent further deterioration of the security situation in the Middle East.
