UEFA has opened an investigation to review the incident in the match between Romania and Kosovo, and announced on their official website that both football federations are being investigated.
“Disciplinary proceedings have been initiated against the Romanian Football Federation and the Football Federation of Kosovo in accordance with Article 55 of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations following the UEFA Nations League match between Romania and Kosovo played on November 15, 2024, in Bucharest, Romania,” the statement said.
Additionally, it is mentioned that further information regarding these proceedings will be made available in due course.
Both parties believe they have valid arguments to claim the victory of the match “on the table.”
