American soldiers assigned to the Regional Command-East of the NATO-led KFOR mission have conducted patrols along Kosovo’s administrative boundary line to ensure freedom of movement and a safe environment, IndeksOnline reports.

In an official statement, KFOR emphasized that its troops routinely conduct daily patrols across multiple municipalities in Kosovo to maintain peace in the region.

“Whether patrolling independently or alongside our security response partners, KFOR remains committed to our mission,” the statement said.

KFOR continues to carry out its mandate based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 (1999), working to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo.

The mission operates in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX, within their respective security response roles.
