The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel (ECAP) has announced that a total of nine complaints have so far been submitted by political parties and candidates regarding Kosovo’s early parliamentary elections held on June 7, 2026.
According to ECAP’s response to Indeksonline, of the nine complaints reviewed, two have been upheld, while seven have been rejected.
The institution also clarified that no complaints have been filed so far regarding the counting of conditional ballots, postal votes, or diaspora votes.
As for the completion of the complaints process and the path toward the certification of the final election results, ECAP stated that this will depend on the actions of the Central Election Commission (CEC), as well as any potential appeals that may first be submitted to ECAP and subsequently to the Supreme Court.
At this stage, no exact date has been set for the certification of the final results. The process can only be finalized once all complaints and possible legal appeals have been resolved.
