A powerful storm struck Slovenia, with strong winds exceeding 100 km/h overnight in the northern regions, causing significant material damage.

Despite the destruction, conditions are expected to gradually improve throughout the day.

Due to the calming weather, the Slovenian Environment Agency, ARSO, announced that the red weather alert for the north of the country will be downgraded to orange tonight and further reduced to yellow tomorrow.

Authorities continue to assess the damage caused by the intense winds, while residents are urged to remain cautious as conditions stabilize.
