The American Chamber of Commerce in Kosovo has emphasized that improving the business climate in Kosovo requires predictable policies, targeted reforms, and continuous dialogue between institutions and the private sector.

These priorities were highlighted during an Executive Breakfast hosted by the Chamber with Mimoza Kusari-Lila, Minister of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation. The event brought together business leaders and representatives from the Embassy of the United States in Kosovo.

During the discussion, Kusari-Lila presented the Ministry’s legislative agenda and key reform initiatives. These include support for domestic production, the green transformation of industrial parks, improvements to services provided by the Kosovo Business Registration Agency, further digitalization of public services, and measures aimed at strengthening innovation and workforce development.

Members of the American Chamber also underlined the need to review the fiscal burden on fuel derivatives, particularly in light of disruptions in global supply chains. Additionally, they called for increased support for the ICT sector, with a strong focus on developing skilled human capital.
