Albulena Haxhiu, Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, met with Anu Prattipati, Chargé d’Affaires at the Embassy of the United States in Kosovo, to discuss recent political developments and institutional priorities.
According to an official statement from the Assembly, the meeting focused on the latest political situation in the country, the legislative agenda, and ongoing cooperation in support of democratic processes.
The discussion also reaffirmed the importance of continued partnership between Kosovo’s institutions and the United States in strengthening governance and democratic stability.
Earlier in the day, Haxhiu stated that the parliamentary session for the election of the president will resume once the necessary conditions are met, emphasizing efforts to reach political consensus among parties. She also noted that, in her view, there is no need for new elections at this stage.
