The AAK leader, Ramush Haradinaj, attended the 27th anniversary of the death of 106 martyrs in Pastaseli, Rahovec.
In a post on his Facebook profile, Haradinaj noted that the bullets of the enemy spared neither the elderly, women, nor children, leaving deep wounds for the families.

“In Pastaseli, together with Mayor Smajl Latifi, family members, and collaborators, today we honored the memory of 106 martyrs executed from this village and surrounding areas, who had sought refuge here to escape the barbarity of the enemy.
The same fate befell 42 innocent Albanians from the village of Burim in Malishevë. The bullets of the enemy spared neither the elderly, nor women, nor children, leaving deep wounds for their families.
We live every day with the glory of the fallen and with the sacrifice that strengthened our path to freedom. Our remembrance of them is eternal, and our duty is to protect and strengthen Kosovo, for which they gave their lives.”
