Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received in a meeting the Head of the EULEX, Giovanni Pietro Barbano, where discussions focused on strengthening the rule of law in the country.
According to the official press release, the meeting highlighted the need for deep reforms aimed at increasing discipline, accountability, and efficiency within the judiciary. Both parties agreed that digitalization is a key element in enhancing transparency and improving the overall functioning of the judicial and prosecutorial systems.
A central point of discussion was the full implementation of the electronic case management system, which was deemed essential for all judges and prosecutors in order to boost efficiency and reduce delays in handling cases.
On this occasion, Kurti reaffirmed the commitment of the Government of Kosovo to legality and the rule of law, emphasizing the continuation of reforms that ensure an efficient, transparent, and accountable justice system.
