The Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Germany, along with diplomat Faruk Ajeti, announced that Wizz Air has corrected the designation of the Pristina destination in its systems.

According to the announcement, the destination name was changed from “Priština” to “Prishtina” or “Pristina,” following public reactions and diplomatic engagement by Kosovo’s institutions in Germany.

This move is seen as a concrete example of the impact that coordinated public response and active diplomacy can have in correcting inaccuracies related to Kosovo and its cities on international platforms.

The Embassy of Kosovo in Germany has also called on citizens to report cases where the Republic of Kosovo or its cities are not presented correctly by institutions or companies, encouraging them to submit reports via official email along with supporting evidence.

According to the embassy, such reports will help address and correct similar inaccuracies in the future.
