The police provided details on the seizure of armaments yesterday in Zvecan, where three uninhabited houses were raided.

According to the police, during the search of three uninhabited houses, 1,588 pieces of ammunition, various types of weapons, Serbian military uniforms, and Kosovo Police uniforms were found and seized.

“Investigative police units conducted raids at three locations (uninhabited houses) and during the search found and seized 1,588 pieces of ammunition, 10 different types of weapons, 62 grenades, 1.5 kg of plastic explosives, 1 pair of binoculars, 4 walkie-talkies, 1 jammer, reserve equipment for walkie-talkies, 33 loaded magazines, 8 empty magazines, masks, anti-ballistic gear, Serbian uniforms, Kosovo Police uniforms, tents, drone equipment, and reserve weapon equipment,” the 24-hour report stated.

During yesterday’s press conference held by the Minister of Interior, Xhelal Svecla, and the Police Director, Gazmend Hoxha, no arrests were reported.

Meanwhile, the police stated that the case continues to be investigated by relevant units.
