Daylight saving time will end overnight from Saturday into Sunday, October 25.
At 3:00 a.m., clocks will be turned back one hour to 2:00 a.m., meaning people will gain an extra hour of sleep.
Most smartphones, computers, and other internet-connected devices will automatically adjust to the time change, while clocks without this feature will need to be set manually.
In 2018, the European Commission proposed abolishing seasonal clock changes. The proposal was subsequently supported by the European Parliament in 2019. However, EU member states have yet to reach a final agreement on whether to permanently adopt daylight saving time or standard time.
Daylight saving time begins on the last Sunday of March and ends on the last Sunday of October.
