Christina Markus Lassen, Denmark’s representative at the UN Security Council, called on Serbia to ensure that Kosovo is not blocked from joining international organizations and stressed that agreements must be implemented in good faith.
She highlighted the need for concrete steps by Serbia to guarantee accountability by bringing those responsible for the Banjska attack to justice.
“For Serbia, it is required to refrain from obstructing Kosovo’s participation in international organizations. Agreements must be implemented in good faith. Concrete steps are needed from Serbia to ensure accountability by bringing the perpetrators of the Banjska attack to justice. This remains an issue with negative impact,” said Lassen.
Lassen also encouraged the organization of a high-level meeting to continue dialogue and achieve concrete results.
