Tehran has stated that an agreement was not expected in the first round of negotiations between Iran and the United States.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baqaei said that neither side anticipated an immediate deal from the outset, emphasizing that diplomatic contacts with Pakistan and other regional countries will continue.
According to reports, the Iranian delegation has departed Pakistan following the conclusion of talks in Islamabad.
Meanwhile, the U.S. side, through Vice President JD Vance, confirmed that no agreement was reached, stressing that Iran did not accept Washington’s conditions regarding halting the development of nuclear weapons.
