Saudi Arabia has restored full operations of its main East-West oil pipeline following attacks that had damaged the country’s energy infrastructure.
The Ministry of Energy announced that the strikes had disrupted the transport of around 700,000 barrels of oil per day through the pipeline.
It was also reported that the Manifa oil field production facility near the coast has been restored, while repair work continues at the Khurais oil field.
Following the escalation of conflict in the region, Saudi Arabia has been forced to reroute its oil exports through this pipeline, avoiding the Strait of Hormuz.
