Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Albulena Haxhiu, announced that a new parliamentary session will be held on 27 April, with key agenda items including a draft law related to Kosovo’s membership in the so-called Peace Board.

Speaking after a meeting of the Assembly Presidency, Haxhiu clarified that the session will not address the issue of the presidency, noting that political consensus on the matter has not yet been reached.

“I would like it to be so, but we are still awaiting consensus regarding the issue of the president,” she said.

She confirmed that the Presidency decided to convene a plenary session at 10:00 on 27 April to address several important matters, including the review of Draft Law No. 10/L-007 on Kosovo’s membership in the Peace Board.

The proposed agenda is expected to include other significant legislative items as well, though further details have not yet been disclosed.
